Stokke Issues Urgent Recall of Yoyo3 Strollers Over Brake Safety Concerns

Stokke has announced a recall of approximately 2,890 Yoyo3 strollers due to a potential issue with the parking brake. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has advised all consumers who own the affected strollers to stop using them immediately. This recall highlights Stokke's commitment to safety and aims to protect children and families who rely on their products.

The recall specifically impacts Yoyo3 strollers with serial numbers beginning with "142AA" and followed by numbers below "0062239." These strollers were sold between September and October 2024 at various retailers, including Bloomingdale's, Crate and Barrel, Nordstrom, Albee Baby, Macro Baby, stokke.com, Amazon.com, and Babylist.com.

Stokke released a statement emphasizing its dedication to customer safety. "We understand how important it is to choose safe and reliable products for your child," the company noted. The parking brake issue could pose a risk of the stroller rolling unexpectedly, which could lead to accidents.

In light of this issue, Stokke is urging all consumers who have purchased a recalled Yoyo3 stroller to take immediate action. They recommend that owners stop using the stroller and contact Stokke for further instructions on how to proceed. The company is prepared to address any concerns and provide assistance to affected customers.

"Ensuring the wellbeing and safety of the children and families using our products is our main priority," Stokke added in their statement. The company is taking these measures seriously to maintain trust with their customers.
