Starbucks is getting summer started a little early this year! Today, they’ve unveiled their 2025 summer beverage menu and it’s a tasty combination of brand new and returning favorites! The highly anticipated menu will roll out in May, bringing with it a refreshing offering for customers looking to enjoy the warmer months.
One of the most anticipated new menu additions, though is the debut of the Iced Horchata Oatmilk Shaken Espresso. This drink takes its cue from horchata, the classic Mexican drink made with rice, milk, cinnamon and vanilla. This creative beverage will be made with an all-new horchata syrup, sure to be unlike anything you’ve tasted before.
Nationwide Starbucks will bring a new item to their menu. They’re reintroducing fan favorites like the Summer-Berry Lemonade Refresher and the Summer Skies Drink! The Summer-Berry Lemonade Refresher combines lemonade with juicy raspberry-flavored pearls, offering a refreshing twist that echoes the popular East Asian boba tea.
The flavor pearls in the Summer-Berry Lemonade Refresher explode with tastes of just-picked blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries. Feel the flavors of summer with each refreshing sip! Acknowledging the cultural significance of boba tea, Eater noted, “By renaming them ‘pearls,’ Starbucks avoids a direct association with boba tea culture, and thus, Asian culture at large.”
Our new Summer Skies Drink rounds out the menu with a coconut milk base. This adds a lovely creaminess that really complements all those fresh, bold summer flavors.
With this refreshing Spring lineup, Starbucks is looking to welcome customers back by infusing classic comfort recipes with unexpected newness and vibrancy.
