The new pool club will offer unique programming for socializing, learning, and unwinding. Get ready for a delightful retreat just steps from the busy city streets!

At Lillie’s Victorian, patrons can enjoy a taste of “Melondrama.” This deliciously elegant mocktail takes its cue from Oscar Wilde’s literary masterpiece, “The Picture of Dorian Gray.” This light tropics-inspired cocktail is an ode to spring, and it’s cooling flavors combined with the restaurant’s seasonally focused menu make it a perfectly matched duo. The establishment will debut a special-edition “Dorian Collection” of cocktails and decor. This year the collection will add a very special themed twist to that Victorian charm.

For families looking to foster a love for nature in young minds, the Queens Botanical Garden offers Spring Kids Programs that guide children through the wonders of nature—from seed to table. These departments offer engaging hands-on STEM programs that truly interest children. They teach people to understand the world around them and develop a respect for nature.

Central Park has become the unofficial face of that springtime welcome. The park will be the site of a series of Spring Migration Walks with naturalist Gabriel Willow. Walk with us on these re-imagined Wednesday evenings, May 14, 21, and 28. You’ll leap into the park’s unique ecosystem and get opportunities to spot migratory birds and colorful wildflowers! Willow will lead all participant groups along scenic, natural paths while helping participants learn and understand more about the local ecosystem.

“This experience reflects the freedom and transformation found in nature, and the inherent beauty in living freely,” – Will Coss.

Art enthusiasts will find much to admire at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), which is showcasing “Hilma af Klint: What Stands Behind Flowers.” This exhibition shares the story behind her newly discovered botanical works, illuminating her distinctive, visionary approach to nature. As small tastes and glimpses, the artworks in the collection encourage us to explore and understand this beautiful relationship between culture and nature.

The Bronx is proud to host an equally wonderful exhibition, “Van Gogh’s Flowers.” This Floral Wonder showcase aims to highlight that iconic artist’s intense obsession with all things floral. This gigantic immersive exhibition invites audiences to explore the beauty of Van Gogh’s colorful depictions of flowers. The result is a mesmerizing audio-visual experience that poetically recreates all the sights and sounds of spring.

Rockefeller Center shouldn’t be missed this season as it opens its flower show, “Spring is Blooming.” Night Watch, her regal and breathtaking installation, took over 1,300 masterful hours to craft. It features over 8,000 plants and 50,000 stems, with more than 50 different flower types. Visitors are invited to escape into this magical seasonal haven from May 11 – September 27. To welcome the season, The Frick Collection has opened an exhibition room on the first floor dedicated entirely to this theme. They’ve fixed up the stunning Boucher Room for visitors to experience! These improvements offer art enthusiasts a deeper experience as they discover the museum’s renowned collection.
