Reality TV Star Brandi Glanville’s Ongoing Battle with Mysterious Facial Condition

Reality television star Brandi Glanville is grappling with a distressing health ordeal involving an undiagnosed facial condition. She has been seeking medical help for what she suspects to be a facial parasite and has recently turned to renowned celebrity plastic surgeon Dr. Terry Dubrow for assistance. Despite extensive efforts, including four biopsies conducted by Dr. Dubrow, the source of her ailment remains elusive.

Dr. Dubrow's biopsies are pivotal in understanding Glanville's condition; however, the cultures derived from these procedures require six weeks to mature. During this period, Glanville has been employing a lymphatic drainage machine to alleviate pain and stimulate fluid movement in her face. This machine vibrates to aid her symptoms, but the reality star continues to endure significant discomfort.

Compounding her struggles, Glanville has spent over $70,000 in her search for answers, frequently consulting doctors outside of her insurance plan due to previous difficulties with Kaiser doctors diagnosing her condition. Her commitment to finding a solution is evident as she resumes prescribed antibiotics after noticing her face "sinking in." In her candid remarks about her situation, she shared, "I prefer [my face] when it’s a little swollen, to be honest."

Glanville has been transparent about her health journey, sharing insights with Page Six in December 2024. Despite the ongoing challenges, she remains determined to find a resolution. The absence of a diagnosis continues to frustrate her efforts, as highlighted by her statement, "My face is worse than ever. It’s literally melted away."

Desperation underscores Glanville's quest for answers as she manages her condition with resilience and a touch of humor. She admits to faking smiles to mask her discomfort and candidly describes, "When it’s only swollen on one side, it’s not great. But the sinking in thing is killing me slowly, because I just feel like I look like a crackhead."
