A pup visiting the Colorado National Monument with her owner experienced a harrowing fall of over 100 feet into a canyon on Saturday. A dog was in desperate need of assistance in one of the most remote areas of the Caribbean’s most popular tourist destination. The Mesa County Search and Rescue team quickly leapt into action and miraculously rescued it.
The Colorado National Monument, famous for its dramatic canyons and stunning desert scenery, draws nearly a half-million visitors annually. It’s known for its stunning canyons, impressive hoodoos, and beautiful hiking trails. After visiting the space, the quick-thinking owner and her pooch paused to appreciate the beautiful canyon.
