Gerolsteiner Sparkling Water Recall Due to Potential Bottle Cracks

Gerolsteiner Sparkling Natural Mineral Water has been recalled due to concerns over potential cracked or damaged bottles. The recall, announced on March 12, affects 61,500 units of the imported German mineral water. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) initiated the recall, advising consumers to handle the product with care and dispose of it responsibly.

The recall specifically targets bottles with lot codes 11/28/2024 L or 11/27/2024 L. These products were sold for approximately $3 per bottle at Trader Joe's, a popular grocery chain. Customers are encouraged to return the affected bottles to any Trader Joe's location for a full refund.

“If you have bottles with either lot code, please do not use them. We urge you to dispose of them carefully and go to any Trader Joe’s for a full refund.” – Trader Joe’s

Consumers will not need to provide proof of purchase, but they must return the recalled bottle to receive a refund, which can be issued in cash or credit. This measure aims to ensure consumer safety and satisfaction throughout the recall process.

This recall is part of a series of recalls conducted by Trader Joe's, following the February 14 recall of its frozen Organic Acai Bowls. Customers with questions about the current recall can reach out to Trader Joe's Customer Relations at 599-3817.
