Duran Lantink, the avant-garde designer known for his boundary-pushing creations, has once again captivated audiences and sparked debate at Paris Fashion Week. His latest collection, "Duranimal," debuted on Sunday at the Palais de Tokyo and featured daring designs that challenged traditional notions of fashion. The highlight of the show was an outfit worn by male model Chandler Frye, which featured a crop top closely resembling his skin tone, giving the illusion of nudity.
The ensemble showcased a prominent pair of breasts, leaving spectators both in attendance and online in shock. Alex White, fashion director of Elle Magazine, humorously remarked on Instagram, calling it "D cup envy." However, not all reactions were light-hearted. Some criticized the display as objectifying, with one observer stating, "This is not okay. This is called objectification of the female body. Just so the audience will watch. This is not fashion!!!!!!"
In defense of his provocative creation, Lantink explained his intentions behind the design.

Female model Mica Argañaraz showcased a shirt that mimicked a muscular man's chest, adding to the show's theme of challenging gender norms and experimenting with form and silhouette.
