NFL Agent Jeff Sperbeck Dies in Golf Cart Accident at 62

Jeff Sperbeck, a prominent NFL agent and close friend of football legend John Elway, tragically died at the age of 62 following an accident at the Madison Club. Sperbeck had a remarkable NFL career, guiding more than 100 players to professional football and serving as a mentor. Sadly, he experienced a golf cart accident, falling off the moving vehicle and dying from blunt head trauma.

The T-Boner accident in which John Elway was allegedly operating the golf cart. Federal authorities opened a civil rights investigation into the incident. They concluded that it was an accident, citing a lack of evidence for either criminal intent or mechanical failure. The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department did not dispute these findings.

Though Sperbeck’s death, like his life, was unconventional, his loss has left a huge hole for all who knew him. He co-founded the wine brand 7Cellars with Elway, an indication of the duo’s close relationship both on and off the field. In a statement, Elway said he was heartbroken at the loss of his friend and business partner.
