Alexis Von Yates, a 35-year-old former nurse from Florida has lost her nursing license. This comes on the heels of heavy criminal charges against her 15-year-old stepson. Last week, the Florida Department of Health did exactly that – revoking her single-state nursing license. She remains, as of this writing, subject to a criminal trial on three felony charges of lewd or lascivious battery against a minor.
According to the suit, the incidents began last July and continued for months. At the time, his stepson was with his father in Ocala, Florida, for summer vacation. According to authorities, that inappropriate relationship developed over the course of a week. Throughout this period, the stepson alleged that Alexis Von Yates unabashedly communicated her sexual interest in him. He also detailed that she had in the days prior to their encounter constantly been commenting about how “horny” she was.
On the night of July 26, 2024, Alexis Von Yates read her two children to sleep. After which, she allegedly went on to have sexual relations with her stepson. They spent time together on the living room couch, where they played video games and watched movies while his father worked late. The duo purportedly ingested THC vape products throughout this period.
Police reports state that Alexis Von Yates had allegedly made a number of sexual remarks. At one point, she expressed her feelings about their age difference by stating, “I wish you were 18, because you’re not old enough.” She made whipped cream in the most sexual and playful way imaginable. Then she extended her tongue and mock licked some off, baiting him even more.
As the situation escalated tensions ran extremely high resulting in physical confrontations. During these encounters, Alexis Von Yates and her stepson engaged in unprotected oral sex and vaginal intercourse. In the wake of these actions, the boy reportedly told authorities that he would give her sexual skills a “seven out of ten.”
Alexis Von Yates, 31, was arrested last month after the alleged acts were made public. After her arrest, she was placed under public investigation for her behavior as a public servant. The Florida Department of Health concluded that she exercised bad judgment. They found that she was devoid of the moral character required of a registered nurse.
As it now stands, Alexis Von Yates has entered a not guilty plea to all the charges brought against her. To date, her legal representatives have issued no public statements about the federal case, which has received national media coverage attention.
