In 2018, Katt stole the show from the regular cast while guest starring on an episode of the Hulu comedy series “Casual.” This role became his last major acting role.

During his lifetime, Katt opened a window into the entertainment industry and the unique culture of Los Angeles. He remarked on the pervasive sense of desperation in the city, stating, “There’s so much desperation in the air, in Los Angeles especially.” So he further explored the unique culture of Los Angeles. He quoted Stanley Kubrick’s creepy portrayal of the city as having a “low-level malevolence,” before noting that “it eats at you at a certain level.”

Katt’s career included notable performances in films like “Boiler Room” (2000), where he showcased his ability to embody complex characters. What remains is the brilliant legacy he left to all of us, both audiences and fellow colleagues, through his performances on screen.
