Sean "Diddy" Combs, the renowned music mogul and rapper, found himself at the center of a discreet hospital visit last week. Authorities transferred him from the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) in Brooklyn to Brooklyn Hospital under the cover of darkness. This move, authorized for a medical scan, came as Combs faced ongoing legal challenges while in federal custody.
The 55-year-old artist has been held at the notorious MDC since December 3, following his denial of bail. He awaits trial on serious charges, including sex trafficking, racketeering, and prostitution. Despite these allegations, Combs has consistently denied any wrongdoing. His trial is scheduled to commence on May 5.
Combs' hospital visit aimed to address persistent knee issues, which have troubled him since running the New York Marathon years ago. The Bureau of Prisons confirmed that Combs underwent a noninvasive MRI scan to examine his knee condition. A spokesperson for the Bureau stated:
